Kolv Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Kolv app, operated by Micah Gaffney ("Kolv," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Kolv, you agree to them.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kolv. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.
Your account
Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account.
Using Kolv
Kolv lets you track golf rounds with GPS, keep a scorecard, and export images of your shots and stats. You agree not to misuse the app, including by interfering with its operation, accessing other users' data, reverse engineering it, or using it for anything unlawful.
Safety on the course
Your safety is your responsibility. Stay aware of other golfers, carts, and course hazards. Do not look at your phone while driving a cart or when anyone is about to hit. Follow course rules and staff instructions.
GPS and distance accuracy
Location and distance figures are estimates and can be affected by your device, signal, and surroundings. Do not rely on Kolv where accuracy matters, including in competitions where distance-measuring devices are restricted.
Your content
You own the rounds, scores, and images you create in Kolv. You give us permission to store and process them only to operate the app for you. When you share an exported image, you are responsible for where you post it.
Our app
Kolv, including its name, logo, and design, belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on your Apple devices under these terms.
App Store
If you downloaded Kolv from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and has no obligation to provide maintenance. These terms are between you and Kolv, not Apple.
Changes and termination
We may update the app or these terms. When we change these terms, we will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email. If you keep using Kolv after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer
Kolv is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kolv will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any injury or loss arising from your use of the app or activity on a golf course. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed $100.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
